Seminar on Vertex Operator Algebras in Thiessow
The Seminar on Vertex Operator Algebras will take place 5th - 10th October 2026 in the Haus Ostsee in Thiessow on Rügen.
The costs of accommodation and meals will be covered by us. The participants are asked to cover the travel costs on their own, resp. by their home institution.
Note that Thiessow is a slightly remote place on Rügen and Google might give you strange routes to get there (especially now outside of high season). But there is a bus connection for example from Binz (which can be reached by ICE) to Thiessow: line 29, running once every hour. (Official page of the bus company)
The meals will have to be prepared by the participants. We will form small groups of "chefs" for each day. The accommodation is in twin rooms.
The programme may be found here: Talk programme. Each participant will be asked to give a talk from the programme at the seminar. You can choose on the registration form those talks where you would be comfortable with giving them.
