Which courses should I take?

What compulsory modules are there?

There are no compulsory modules, but the rules set out in § 6 of the examination and study regulations apply; please refer to Documents and Links.

How do I register for lectures?

Look up the desired course in the course catalog (under Documents and Links). There you'll find a button to request a spot in the course.

How does registration for exams work?

There is a registration period for exams (see Dates and Deadlines). During this period, you can register for your desired exams via the course catalog.

How many credit points should I aim to earn per semester?

On average, you should aim to earn 30 credit points per semester. However, there are no minimum or maximum limits that are monitored.

Where can I find course materials and lecture notes?

That depends largely on the lecturers. Often, they create Moodle pages with additional materials. These Moodle pages are either linked in the course catalog, or you can find them via the central Moodle portal for the Mathematics department.
